MEDIAGON – Ecological limescale protection for pipes, without chemicals

MEDIAGON is an ecological limescale protection solution designed for water installations where reducing limescale-related problems is required without the use of chemicals. It is installed directly onto the supply pipe and applied on the main water line, ideally after the water meter and before any branch connections in the network.

The device is suitable for different pipe materials, including steel, copper, stainless steel, as well as plastic pipes such as PE, PVC, and multilayer. The correct model is selected based on the exact outer diameter of the pipe, which must be measured with a caliper to ensure proper fit and correct operation of the device.

MEDIAGON can be installed either horizontally or vertically. For installation, it is recommended, where possible, to have a straight pipe section before the device. Proper fitting on the pipe is particularly important, as the device must sit precisely and securely on the pipe diameter.

In buildings or installations with a hot water recirculation loop, a second device is also required on the return loop in order to ensure complete protection throughout the entire network. This is a critical point when studying the installation and sizing the application correctly.

Important technical notes

For the correct model selection, the following are required:

• a photo of the installation point
• verification of whether there is a hot water recirculation loop in the building

In addition, during installation, the device must not come into contact with electrical cables or grounding wires, and the minimum required clearance must always be maintained.
