The King Wormery composter for Schools has been installed in the City Hall of Kalamata.
The bin includes 10.000 redworms and is up and ready to digest up to 6kg of organic waste daily and turn them into compost.
The bin is manufacrured in Greece and specifically in the municipality of Kalamata. It has built-in insulation to protect the worms from extreme weather conditions. It is designed to look like a mushroom and it ha a comic portraying the story of the redworm and how they digest the organic waste.
