Drying Solution at Islas Secas Resort in Panama by ECOVRS

Islas Secas is world-class vacation destination located on a chain of sixteen pristine, jungle-clad volcanic islands in the Pacific Ocean, twenty-five miles south of mainland Panama..

Given the special location of the hotel  and the position away from mainland, on sight waste management was the only choice. The hotel administration already compost all the green wastes  but food waste was always  a more difficult story.

In this case ECOVRS suggest the drying solution for 50 kilos per day. The GAIA GC-50 is made all from stainless steel so it can stand in the conditions of the island with high humidity and salinity.

In December 2015 the dryer went into operation to give a definitive solution to food waste management of the hotel. The final dry material is added to the composting pile of green waste.
